How do I join?

It's simple, book a chat with Sandy Vaile to see if we are a good fit to work together. This gives you  the opportunity to ask any questions you have and to make sure you feel comfortable with me. 

This program isn't for everyone, so I like to chat with candidates to make sure they are a good fit, which means you meet certain criteria (see below) so you will have the greatest chance of seeing massive results.

who can join?

Authors are selected for this program based on a few criteria:  

• They must be coachable, which means having basic fiction writing skills, a willingness to accept guidance and try new things. 
• They must have written fiction before or have a solid story idea to work with.
• They are passionate about writing a quality story.
• They have regular time to dedicate to fiction writing and are self-motivated to implement what they learn.
• Their story is novel length (not a short story) and in a contemporary fiction genre. You might not be sure which genre your story fits into, and that's okay, we can figure it out together. 

I don't work with people who are writing children's books, memoirs, erotica, poetry, non-fiction, historical stories.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

Like anything in life,  the more you put into it, the more you get out of it, and writing a book is no different. The lessons will take up to an hour each week, depending on whether you do the bonus exercises. This is in addition to your own story writing time.

Plus there are optional live group coaching sessions, which I strongly recommend because it's the perfect venue to problem solve and learn from other authors, not to mention a massive inspiration booster. I understand you probably won't be able to make it every week. 

Writing time is precious, so I've designed each lesson to improve an aspect of your story, with spare time just to write and implement what you've learnt. After all, the whole point is for you to get this book finished and polished!

how and when is it delivered?

The program runs year round and is delivered through the Fearless Prose training portal, which you can access for the life of program (long after you complete the course material). 

Sandy Vaile will be the one delivering the training material and supporting your journey all the way.

• Lessons are pre-recorded videos, which you can watch and rewatch to your heart's content. 
• There is some live training too, during group coaching sessions. 
• Private coaching sessions are booked by you, at a time that suits you.

how many people are in the group?

If I find there are too many people in one group chat time, I'll open up another option, so everyone gets time to be heard. 

what if I'm not tech savvy?

I sympathise if you're not tech savvy and feel a little daunted by joining an online program, but you can be sure you won't be left alone to deal with any issues you may encounter.

​All you need is a computer and internet connection.

• Once you have successfully logged into the Fearless Prose training portal, you can save the shortcut and keep going to the same place.
• The same goes for the live video chats; once you have successfully chatted with Sandy Vaile, you will find it easy to click on a link and join subsequent individual and group sessions. 
• ​If you get stuck at any time, you can email Sandy Vaile directly. 

what if i can't make the group chats? 

There's no need to stress if you can't participate in the group coaching sessions. You can work through the lessons on your own and will still be able to chat with Sandy one-on-one and have unlimited access via email. 

Plus, I will share recordings of the group chats, so you can watch them at a time that suits you. 

WHAT IF I NEED TIME OFF?
