Now that some cooler weather has arrived in Adelaide, it's perfect for writing.
I've donned the tracky-dacks and slippers, made a cup of tea and settled into my office chair. Of course, there is always a perfect time for writing and if you can't find it, you're just not trying hard enough.
There are excuses everywhere to prevent you from writing and I'm sure we've all used them at one time or another, but stop and think about how many excuses there are to actually do it! I love it when it's too hot, too cold, too wet, too dark, or I'm just too lazy to go outside. When there's nothing interesting on TV, or hubby has pinched it to play Xbox.
Then there are those important people in your life: the hunky hero; sexy heroine; nasty bad guy. Okay, they're not real people, but they really deserve your time. Imagine how much fun it will be to throw everything you have at them, take them to the wall and strip their souls bare, only to offer an olive branch for them to climb their way back to sanity. See, aren't you dying to start typing already?
